Time Debt

Another concept worth understanding is time debt.
Just as financial debt represents obligations carried into the future, time debt represents responsibilities postponed indefinitely.
Examples include:
- chronic sleep deprivation
- neglected health
- clutter accumulation
- unresolved decisions
Eventually these obligations demand repayment.
Ignoring them simply pushes the cost into the future.
Often with interest.
Reducing time debt creates breathing room.
(We explore this idea further in “Time Debt: The Hidden Cause of Burnout.”)
